TJ Rogers Biography
Thomas James Rogers was born on October 19, 1994 in Charleston, SC. His hometown is right here in St. George, SC. His world was turned upside when his sister was born on May 2, 2000. His parents divorced when he was eight years old. He stayed with his mom in St. George, but eventually went to go live with his dad in Ridgeville, SC. T.J., as he is called, then relocated to Summerville, SC with his dad and kept moving back and forth between Ridgeville and Summerville. Everything escalated when he was at Summerville High School in the 9th grade. That April, he left his dad’s house and went to go live with his mother. He currently resides in Hollywood, SC. He is involved with sports and many other extracurricular activities, and is currently a junior.
Lauren Scruggs Biography
Lauren Scruggs is currently a sophomore at Dorchester Academy. She is a member of the Senior Beta Club, the Fellowship of Christians Club, Student Government, JV Basketball, and JV Softball. Lauren has previously been a member of the SIPA convention and the CJI convention, and hopes to continue attending them. Before Lauren attended Dorchester Academy, she went to St. George Middle School and was a part of the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) class. Before St. George Middle, she attended Williams Memorial Elementary School where she also participated in the GATE class. Lauren plans on attending either Clemson University or the University of Georgia, but her ultimate dream is to go to Notre Dame University in Indiana.
Brandon Bair Biography
Brandon Bair was born on March 18, 1994. He lives in St. George, SC. He went to Williams Memorial Elementary School from K-5 to 5th grade. He attended Dorchester Academy in K-4 and came back in the 6th grade. He is now a junior at Dorchester Academy. He plays varsity football, baseball, and basketball. He enjoys the outdoors, and loves to hunt and fish.
Elizabeth Brownlee Biography
On February 9 of 1994, Elizabeth Brownlee came into this world and changed it forever. She had light brown hair and brown eyes. Her parents were Roger and Sherry Brownlee of Rosinville, South Carolina.
As a child, she loved being outside and spending time with her grandfather, Clayborn. She has attended Dorchester Academy since 5-year-old kindergarten. She has had many friends and still has friends today.
Now, as a junior, she plays Varsity volleyball, captain of the basketball team, softball, and cheers for the varsity football team. She also attends youth at Indian Field United Methodist Church, and a current member of the Interact Club, Beta Club, and Fellowship of Christian Students. She likes spending time with her friends and family. She has a sister who is seven years old and also attends Dorchester Academy.
Joey Shieder Biography
On August 24, 1994, Joey was born at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Joseph William Shieder is his real name. St. George has always been his hometown and he has attended Dorchester Academy since K4. He currently is a junior and plays football and basketball.
Reese Westbury Biography
Reese Westbury is an eleventh grader at Dorchester Academy. He is a member of the block D club, the 2010 state champion football team, and the varsity baseball team. He likes to hunt, fish, and work in his spare time. He is a Clemson Tiger fan.
David Joshua Bucci Biography
David Joshua Bucci is currently an 11th grade student at Dorchester Academy. He was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He lived there for 6 years and has been to four different schools. The first school he attended was Blessed Sacrament School in Charleston; after that he moved to Beech Hill Elementary in Summerville, Colleton Prep in Walterboro, and now attends Dorchester Academy. He currently resides in Ridgeville where he has lived for 8 years.
At DA, he plays basketball. Out of school, he plays golf and baseball with friends. He enjoys hunting and deep-sea fishing with his grandfather. His dream is to attend Clemson University and major in architectural design.
